2021 BMW X4 Spied

To bring the sporty SUV inline withe BMW’s latest designs, the BMW X4 is getting a mid-cycle update. 

Both inside and out will be polished up for the 2021 BMW X4. Debut for the updated X3 and X4 pair is expected to be later this year. New headlights and tail lights are part of the mid-cycle refresh. The new headlights spied feature LED daytime running lights akin to that of the latest BMW 5 Series. 

A new grille is also on the way, albeit more traditional than the latest BMW 4 Series. Camouflaged bumpers indicate additional changed to those giving the vehicle a fresher appearance. A smaller shifter, but still a conventional design placed near a restyled rotary dial for the new larger touchscreen for the infotainment, as are a refreshed layout of the buttons that sum up the interior updated. 

Changed to the powertrain line-up aren’t clear as of yet. The current X4 is available with four powertrains. The xDrive20i and xDrive30i both use 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engines, the former producing 135kW of power and 300Nm of torque, and the latter producing 185kW of power and 350Nm of torque. 

The M40i graces you with a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six with 265kW and 500Nm, and topping the X4 range is the X4 M Competition which boasts a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six with 375kW and 600Nm.
